Understanding the science behind our advanced lime slaking technology

Quicklime (CaO) is precisely metered into the slaker through an automated feeding system. Particle size is optimized for maximum reaction efficiency.
The core exothermic reaction: CaO + H₂O → Ca(OH)₂ + Heat. Our system injects water at precisely controlled ratios through multi-stage spray nozzles, ensuring complete hydration with zero unreacted quicklime.
Advanced PID-controlled water injection maintains optimal reaction temperature (90-105°C). Real-time moisture sensors ensure the final product achieves target humidity (≤1% free moisture), preventing over-hydration or under-hydration.
Hydrated lime passes through an integrated classifier that separates fine Ca(OH)₂ powder from residual grit. The finished product is collected via a dust-free pneumatic conveying system, ready for packaging or silo storage.
